"This is one of the most important books that I have ever written because it describes the totality of the threat that communist-ruled China poses to the survival of the American system of freedom. President Trump is standing up to this threat, but in order for the US to be successful in overcoming this challenge, we need to earn the support of the American people. Trump versus China provides the facts and context needed for Americans across the country to understand what is happening between the US and China, how we got to where we are today, and what we need to do to survive.”

                                                                                                                        – Newt Gingrich

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich sounds the warning bell that communist-ruled China poses the biggest threat to the United States that we have seen in our lifetime.

Newt Gingrich's new book, Trump vs China: Facing America’s Greatest Threat, will serve as a rallying cry and a plan of action for the American people – Republicans and Democrats alike – by laying out the Chinese Communist Party’s multi-pronged threat against the United States and what we must do as a country to survive.

The Chinese Communist Party’s tactics impact every American across a wide variety of industries and fields. Consider the following:

Did you know that the Chinese Communist Party is influencing American students through propaganda efforts?

There are nearly 90 Confucius Institutes operating on campuses across the US, which according to a former top Chinese Communist Party official, are an “important part of China’s overseas propaganda set-up.”

Did you know that American innovators are having their property and profits stolen by thieves?

According to the Commission on the Theft of American Intellectual Property, IP theft costs the US economy between $225 and $600 billion annually, with China being the “principal IP infringer.”

Did you know that not even private companies in China are free from the Communist Party’s influence?

Chinese law requires its companies - even those that are foreign - to establish party cells, that as of mid 2017, existed in “nearly 70 percent of some 1.86 million private companies.”

Did you know that China is actively investing in American businesses?

In 2017, The Wall Street Journal wrote that the Chinese technology giant Tencent “has quietly become China’s top corporate investor in Silicon Valley, pouring money into everything from electric cars to moonshot ventures such as space tourism and asteroid mining.”

Did you know that American companies are having to compromise their principles to do business in China?

Google started “Project Dragonfly,” a search engine that (before it was canceled) was to comply with the Chinese Communist Party’s censorship requirements. Apple relocated Chinese customers’ iCloud data to a center in China that is operated by a Chinese company.

Did you know that the Chinese Communist Party manipulates Hollywood films to promote their own image?

In the trailer for the new movie Top Gun: Maverick, patches of Japanese and Taiwanese flags were removed from Tom Cruise’s signature bomber jacket. The Communist Party controls which movies are allowed to enter the massive and highly restricted  Chinese market, so it has produced as one Twitter user wrote, “A film glorifying the US military, bowing to Chinese sensitivities.”

Did you know that the Chinese Communist Party is illegally expanding its territory?

An estimated one-third of all global shipping passes through the South China Sea. The Chinese Communist Party has been actively building and militarizing artificial islands in the South China Sea and claiming this territory as its own in violation of international law.
